Her second novel, Winter Song, a paranormal romance, is due for release in the summer of 2013.

Having a great deal of wanderlust, Jennifer McMurrain traveled the countryside working odd jobs before giving into her muse and becoming a full time writer. She's been everything from a "Potty Princess" in the wilds of Yellowstone National Park to a Bear Researcher in the mountains of New Mexico. After finally settling down, she received a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts and Science from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.  She has won numerous awards for her short stories and novels. Raven Lee, also known as Jennifer McMurrain, is an award winning, best selling author, who is branching out into the world of Young Adult and Paranormal/Horror. Although Jennifer will never be one to cuss excessivily, have erotic sex scenes, or extreme gore in her novels, she wanted a way for her readers to distinguish between her inspirational/historical/romantic works with her darker material. Jennifer came up with this particular pen name for two reasons: In high school Jennifer was obsessed with the life and works of Edgar Allen Poe, hence the first name Raven. Jennifer's parents and her older sister, who have been a constant source of love and support, all have the middle name of Lee/Lea.
